Agonising cutting, cramping colic compelling patient to bend double or press something hard against the abdomen. Pains better from hard pressure and heat. Ailments from anger, indignation, mortification. Neuralgic pains especially left-sided. Sciatica, left side, better from pressure and heat.
Mind & Emotional Symptoms
Extremely irritable, angry, easily offended. Ailments from anger and indignation. Does not want to answer, talk, or be disturbed. Impatient, restless from pain.
General Symptoms
Violent, cramping, griping pains. Better from hard pressure, bending double, heat, coffee. Worse from anger, indignation, lying on painless side, eating, drinking. Left-sided predominance.
Physical Symptoms
Head
Headache from anger. Frontal headache, better from pressure. Burning pain in head.
Face
Neuralgia, especially left-sided, tearing. Worse from touch, better from pressure and warmth.
Stomach
Nausea, vomiting from pain. Bitter taste. Desire for bread and beer.
Abdomen
Agonising cutting, cramping pain, compelling to bend double and press on abdomen. Colic after anger. Better from hard pressure, bending double, warmth. Intestines feel squeezed between stones.
Rectum
Dysentery with colic. Jelly-like, mushy stools. Renewed urging immediately after stool.
Urinary
Intense burning along urethra during stool. Tenesmus of bladder. Small, frequent urination.
Female Genitalia
Ovarian cyst, especially left. Boring pain in ovary, must draw up double. Suppression of menses from indignation.
Extremities
Sciatica — left side; cramping pain in hip, better from pressure and heat, lying on affected side. Contracted joints. Pain from hip down sciatic nerve to knee.
Back
Pain in small of back, must bend forward. Stiffness.

Comparative Materia Medica
Magnesia phosphorica has similar cramps better from warmth and pressure but without the anger causation. Chamomilla has anger but more irritability and wants to be carried. Bryonia is better from pressure but worse from any motion.
