Scrofulous glandular enlargement with anemia. Combines Ferrum (anemia, flushing) and Iodum (glands, emaciation, heat). Enlarged thyroid, tonsils, lymph nodes. Anemia with flushing. Chronic nephritis. Exophthalmos. Useful when either Ferrum or Iodum alone is insufficient.

Iron iodide has moderate toxicity. Iron can cause GI irritation, iodide affects thyroid. Safe in potentised forms.
