Compare Causticum (contracted tendons, warts), Rhus toxicodendron (stiffness better from continued motion), Calcarea phosphorica (growing pains). Guaiacum's joints are stiff and immovable, worse from warmth — opposite of Rhus tox.
Safety Information
Nux vomica.
Guaiacum resin is a mild irritant. In large material doses causes nausea, vomiting, and purging. Has been used in conventional medicine as a diaphoretic. Mother tincture is generally well tolerated.
