Keynote Symptoms

Liver congestion and bilious conditions. Stools black, tarry, pitch-like, profuse, fetid — the keynote. Dull aching and soreness in liver region. Jaundice with alternating clay-colored and black stools. Burning between scapulae — a characteristic symptom. Profuse bilious diarrhea with prostration. Desire to sleep.
