Splinter-like, sticking pains — as if a thorn or splinter were stuck in the part. Warts at mucocutaneous junctions (mouth, nose, anus, genitalia) — bleed on washing or touching. Vindictive, unforgiving, holds grudges. Offensive discharges. Cracks and fissures at junctions of skin and mucous membrane. Craves fat and salt.

Thuja has warts but more on covered parts; Nitric acid warts are at junctions and bleed. Hepar sulph also has splinter-like pain in throat but is more chilly and sensitive. Staphysagria has fig-warts but with more suppressed anger.
