Extreme chilliness — wears fur cap in summer. Filthy, offensive body odor and discharges that cannot be washed away. Despair of recovery — hopeless, thinks they will die. Hungry at night, must eat to sleep. Skin eruptions alternate with other complaints (asthma, diarrhea). Whole body feels dirty. Everything smells bad to them.

Abdomen
Chronic diarrhea — watery, dark brown, extremely offensive, especially at night or early morning. Diarrhea alternating with constipation.
Respiratory
Chronic asthma — worse from cold, better from lying down with arms spread. Hay fever annually. Cough with offensive expectoration.
Skin
Dirty, greasy, rough, unwashed look. Intolerable itching worse from warmth of bed, cold, scratching (which doesn't relieve). Scabies-like eruptions. Eczema behind ears. Every skin complaint smells offensive. Eruptions disappear and internal complaints appear.

Sulphur is the warm-blooded, untidy version — Psorinum is the chilly, desperate version. Both have offensive discharges and skin troubles. Arsenicum album is chilly and anxious but fastidious (opposite of Psorinum's filthiness). Calcarea carbonica is chilly and sweaty but less desperate.
