Aurum has syphilitic bone destruction but with more depression. Mercurius has night pains but also causes the mercurial symptoms Stillingia treats. Nitricum acidum has syphilitic ulcers but with splinter pains. Phytolacca has bone pains but more rheumatic.
Safety Information
Not well established.
Queen's root contains diterpene esters (stillingia factor) — irritating to mucous membranes and skin. Large crude doses cause violent purging, burning. Used historically as an "alterative" for syphilis. Use potentised forms.
