Complaints worse at night, sunset to sunrise. Destruction of tissue — bone, cartilage, deep ulcers. Compulsive hand-washing, fear of contamination, OCD. Chronic alcoholism in family. Ptosis. Nodes and exostoses on bones. Linear eruptions. Teeth notched (Hutchinson's teeth). History of family syphilis or destructive tendencies.
