Plantar fasciitis involves inflammation of the plantar fascia ligament, causing heel pain. Usually requires 6-12 months to fully resolve. Multi-pronged approach works best.

Common Symptoms

Sharp heel pain especially first steps in morning or after sitting, improves with movement, worsens with prolonged standing, throbbing pain.
